Organic Modeling

Videogame Assets

These are creature assets created for the playable experience Experiment 3937. Each design reimagines animals as unsettling lab experiments.

The eight-legged creature is inspired by a tick. It has a mouth of its own and an external beating heart that stores the blood it has stolen.

The upright, horned creature draws from a ram. Its horns crack and grow through its skull, while its hands act as sound amplifiers when held beside its head.

Game Peices

These creatures were designed for my tabletop game Bog Born, with each model scaled to fit the board and prepared for 3D printing.

In this four-player game, each player controls a frog-like creature called a Dredgling. I gave every character a distinct personality so players can easily choose and tell them apart.

I also created the Bog Leviathan threat, designed in four separate segments so it can snake dynamically around the board during the game.

Collaboration Work

This is a character I modeled based off of work from a fellow UW-Stout artist, Mobie Dunn. Check more of the model here:

This was my first time using an artists work as a direct reference. The goal was to model the character as close to the drawing as possible, and it was quite fun!

3D Storytelling

In Engine

This is a scene is made in Unreal Engine. The environment draws inspiration from the Nordic game Hnefatafl (Viking chess), aiming to capture its balance of calm and tension. I created a snowy landscape that feels serene yet eerie, layered with darkness and unpredictability, while lanterns, crates, and supplies add a sense of warmth and human presence.

On the right are some of my process photos of how I layered models I made into the engine to create this environment.

Once a commercial diver, now a mechanized biological terror, this monstrosity lurks the deep ocean in search of the next colossal sea creature to add to their kills.

This was modeled, textured and rendered within maya. This was the first time I have ever rendered a scene as if it was underwater, It was fun to experiment with lighting! I hope to come back to this project again and use it for some animations.
